This is a book for English as a Second Language students in Vancouver. It is a useful book to carry and use often while living and studying here. It is also for class work. The book describes what you should know about a topic and then has dialogues in typical English that is commonly used. After the dialogues there is a list of Useful Words and Phrases and Useful Sentences. You do not have to know and use all of these. You can have a conversation quite well with only a few of them. More advanced students can learn and practice using all the words and sentences to develop variety in speech and fluency.
